Memorial scholarships awarded to Freedom Wing Airmen
JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. --
Five Airmen of the 514th Air Mobility Wing were selected to receive $1,000 scholarships.
The scholarship fund was established by wing career advisors in honor of Senior Airman Kevin White, a former member of the wing who passed away in 2003. The fund awards several scholarships annually to first-term Airmen.
This year's winners of the Senior Airman Kevin L. White Memorial Scholarship are:
Airman 1st Class Steven J. Armendariz - 514th Aeromedical Staging Squadron
Senior Airman Magdala Destima - 35th Aerial Port Squadron
Senior Airman Eddie B. Jones III- 514th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
Airman 1st Class Silvio Ng III - 514th Aerospace Medicine Squadron
Senior Airman Ariana G. Petrycki - 732th Airlift Squadron
