3/13/2012 - JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Airmen from the 88th Aerial Port Squadron provided a briefing and a hands-on demonstration of the proper method to build pallets of cargo in a class in the warehouse here March. 11, 2012.
The class will help Airmen from the 514th Air Mobility Wing's other units to pack some of their own cargo for the upcoming operationa readiness exercises and inspection. it covered pallet serviceability and limitations, tie-down equipment, cargo placement, placarding and documentation.
Readiness exercises are scheduled for April 21-29 and October 1-8, and the inspection is scheduled for March 2013.
