Wing inspector wins Howard W. Leaf award

Tim King, 514th Air Mobility Wing, Inspector General Inspections has received the 2016 Howard W. Leaf Award. The award was created in 1986, in honor of the late Lieutenant General Howard W. Leaf, for officers and civilians who work in Air Force inspection. Having received this award at the Air Force Reserve Command level, King will now compete at the Air Force-wide inspector general award category. King has contributed to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in a plethora of ways, including but not limited to: managing a robust wing inspection team; planning, executing and evaluating exercises; evaluating the bases de/anti-ice process; and implementing defensive measures against potential cyber attacks.
