514th AMW Safety office hosts MACA event

Small Aircraft pilots tour a KC-10 Extender during the 514th Air Mobility Wing's Mid Air Collision Avoidence (MACA) event June 4. The event, hosted by the wing's safety office, provides information to pilots on how to safely fly in and around the joint base air space. Pilots and passengers of 27 aircraft were given a tour of the base that included the flightline tower, the Radar Approach Control System, and statics of the C-17 Globemaster III and the KC-10 Extender aircraft.

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Small Aircraft pilots tour a KC-10 Extender during the 514th Air Mobility Wing's Mid Air Collision Avoidence (MACA) event June 4.
