Staff Sgt. Yvette Guillen, with the 514th Operational Support Squadron here, was nominated and selected from a pool of thousands of Airmen as the 2018 Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Awards program (AFISRAP), Headquarters Air Force Outstanding Air Reserve Component ISR Airman of the Year.

Each year, the Air Force honors outstanding performance in ISR missions and exceptional contributions to the field of ISR through AFISRAP. This program enhances existing Air Force, organization, and intelligence community recognition programs by distinguishing the "Best of the Best" ISR members and units operating across the globe.  The program recognizes ISR Airmen for their individual contributions to Air Force ISR missions. The awards are separated for Active Duty, Reserve, Air National Guard Airmen and Civilian.

The Air Force level winners are authorized to wear the Air Force Recognition Ribbon or lapel pin, per Air Force Instruction AFI 36-2820.
