Freedom Wing hosts civilian commander's call

Col. Michael J. Underkofler, 514th Air Mobility Wing commander, recognized traditional civilian personnel and Air Reserve Technicians during a civilian commander's call held here July 2.

The spotlight was placed on nine individuals for their distinguished service and accomplishments. Senior Master Sgt. Kenneth J. Buber, 514th Operations Support Squadron, was given the Air Force Command Individual Mishap-Free Flying-Hour Milestone award for achieving 10,000 mishap-free flying hours and for his commitment to aviation safety.

Senior Master Sgt. Michael Casello, 714th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Master Sgt. Glenn Edwards, 514th Maintenance Squadron, Master Sgt. Gregory Green, 514th Maintenance Operations Flight, and Senior Master Sgt. Christopher Rogers, 514th Maintenance Squadron, were honored for completing 30 years of service. Master Sgt. Juile Campion, 514th Force Support Squadron, and Tech. Sgt. Mark Lawshe, 514th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, were acknowledged for 10 years of service. Master Sgt. Dwayne Gray, 514th Force Support Squadron, was presented with the Certificate of Appreciation and Staff Sgt. Howie Mack, 514th Maintenance Operations Flight, received the Department of the Air Force Civilian Achievement award. Personnel were also briefed on safety, proposed commuting area changes and the furlough.
