Donation brings holiday joy to first sergeants group

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST --  The Elks Club of Manasquan and the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh took the time to donate $1,000 to the 514th Air Mobility Wing's First Sergeant Organization.

Representing the Elks Club and the Bellmar Shillelagh, Mike Cole and Tom Madigan presented a check to Senior Master Sgt. John Fecich, the president of the first sergeant group.

The contribution will be used to help out members of the wing who are in need during the holidays. In the past, donations have been used to help Airmen affected by burglaries, provide hurricane assistance and give back to the base community.
 
Col. Michael Underkofler, 514th AMW commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Michael Ferraro, 514th AMW command chief master sergeant, were present to thank them for the generous donation.
