New AF chiefs honored

A chief master sergeant induction ceremony was held May 14 at the Trump Marina Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. The ceremony honors Airmen who earned the rank of E-9 during the past year.

Fifteen active duty, Guard and Reserve eligible chiefs from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and Atlantic City, N.J., attended the event with family and friends.

Attendees witnessed several traditional military rites to include the Table of Honor ceremony, lighting of enlisted candles and the grand entrance of inductees through the saber guard. At the ceremony's conclusion, inductees were given personalized plaques with the chief's creed handcarved on it.
