Freedom Wing Hosts Job Fair

Service members and their families from across the joint base recently attended a job fair to meet and engage with 29 companies representing various government and private sector employers at the 514th Force Support Squadron on July 22, 2022.

Sponsored by the 514th Air Mobility Wing Airman and Family Readiness Center, the job fair was attended by more than 75 service members, their families, and other community members with connections to the joint base. 

"The job fair was the first step in many people’s new careers," said Tech. Sgt. Christopher Tucker, Airman and Family Readiness Center Employment NCO. "By the end of the day we had more than 20 connections made either by resume or interviews in the future."

A broad range of career fields were represented from a variety of industry’s including construction, communication, banking, retail, law enforcement and medicine.  Also in attendance were employers representing federal, state, and local agencies looking for prospective employees.
