Recruiters have IMA opportunities available Published Jan. 8, 2016 By Shawn J. Jones 514th Air Mobility Wing public affairs JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. -- Reserve Airmen who are interested in promotions, new challenges or a more flexible duty schedule should know that the Air Force Reserve is hiring individual mobilization augmentees (IMAs). IMAs are Air Force Reservists assigned to active-component units and government agencies. Unlike traditional Reservists, who are assigned to Reserve units that regularly perform duty together, IMAs work with their active-duty supervisors to create a custom duty schedule that helps their unit meet mission requirements. To discuss opportunities, contact Master Sgt. Gary Lopriore at 609-444-6727 and gary.lopriore@us.af.mil or Master Sgt. Holly Smithson at 609-491-9750 and holly.smithson@us.af.mil. IMA vacancies are listed in the Reserve Vacancies section on the Air Force Personnel Center's Secure web page (Air Force Portal > AFPC Secure > Reserve Vacancies). A valid common access card is required to access the site. VACANCIES (CAC required): https://w45.afpc.randolph.af.mil/AFPCSecureNet40/CheckPortal.aspx.
