Women's History Month

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. - Maj. Amelia de Asa-Weiland, a flight nurse with the 514th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, here, escorts World War II veteran, Dorothy Dempsey, U.S. Coast Guard, to her seat Mar. 31 at the East Orange Campus of the Veteran's Affairs New Jersey Health Care System. The VA hosted a salute to National Women's History Month, with an emphasis on the Women Veterans Health Care Program the VA provides. Major de Asa-Weiland is the program manager at the VA and organized the event.
