JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. - Col. Giordano B. McMullen, commander of the Reserve wing here, congratulates Ruth Kunkle for her military service performed during World War II. Mrs. Kunkle is one of about 180 Women AirForce Service Pilots who made the trip to the nation's capitol to receive recognition and thanks for their service performed during World War II. With less than 300 WASPs alive today, those present at the March 10 WASP Gold Medal Ceremony on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. recevied a Congressional Medal of Honor. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt.
