Life Saver

Senior Airman Ian Brenner of the 514th Maintenance Squadron saved the life of a choking woman at a restaurant near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Nov. 22, 2015. Brenner said he learned the Heimlich maneuver while serving as a volunteer emergency medical technician and practiced during military training, but he had never used it outside of a training environment.
