AES trains on C-130
A U.S. Air Force KC-10 Extender flies over Reserve Citizen Airman with the 514th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, 514th Air Mobility Wing, perform an engine running offload at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., from a C-130H Hercules with the 757th Airlift Squadron, 910th Airlift Wing, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, after an aeromedical evacuation training mission to Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Dec. 17, 2017. The mission’s purpose is to teach flight nurses and aeromedical evacuation technicians how to respond to scenarios during the evacuation of sick or wounded personnel, and how to handle medical situations that might occur during the flight.
