Medical Logistics of Training Mission

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nefertede Sterling, medical logistics with the 514th Aeromedical Squadron, 514th Air Mobility Wing out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, poses for a portrait by the EXCEL Center clinic in Clay County, Kentucky, August 10, 2019. Sterling was part of the medical logistics team which joined the main body of more than 150 joint-service military members at the tail-end of the mission. Over the course of this medically focused mission, 1,805 civilian patients were treated. Overall, 12,762 procedures were administered to the patients on a first-come, first-served basis and a total value of $1,175,137 of services were provided at no cost to the patients. This mission also resulted in the accumulation of 30,638 military training hours.
