U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kimberly Lord, the 302nd Airlift Wing command chief, presents challenge coins to Tech. Sgt. Norman Beidler, an air transportation craftsman with the 88th Aerial Port Squadron, 514th Air Mobility Wing, and his wife, Rose Beidler, for demonstrating resilience during his recent deployment during a Yellow Ribbon event at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, Calif., on July 21, 2024. The event hosted deployers from across the Air Force Reserve and connected them with resources designed to prepare and reintegrate service members entering or exiting the deployment cycle. The Yellow Ribbon Program was founded in 2008 and works to connect service members with vital resources during the deployment cycle.
