Deputy Wing Commander's Final Flight

Col. Erik Brine, 514th Air Mobility Wing Deputy Commander, completes his fini-flight, or final flight, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., March 1, 2025. This military tradition marks a pilot’s departure from a unit, the last time they fly a type of aircraft, or the last sortie of the pilot’s flying career. Typically, the fini-flight is followed by a champagne-and-water shower after landing.
